2.  All competitors should have race number marked on right arm and leg.
Swim
1. There will be five different swim waves.  This will require all participants to exhibit proper etiquette in the pool.  There will be minimal warm-up time in the pool between waves.
2.  As there will be 3-4 swimmers per lane all swimmers will start in the pool.  Circle swim after the first length to the right of the lane line on the bottom.  Tickle the feet of the swimmer ahead if need to pass but remember that you seem faster when drafting.  Pass over the lane line or the lead swimmer should yield on the turn.  Lap counters will be assigned to each lane.  The lap counter will signal when you are done.
2.  Your Swim wave assignment is determined by your race number as follows:
100's:  First wave for the slowest  swimmers & relays.
200's:  Slower male swimmers and participants
Any one expecting to use a stroke other than front crawl or to take more than 10 minutes or more to swim 500 yards should be in these first two waves.
300's: Females and relays
400's  Males, fastest 50 & over participants
500's Fastest male competitors under 50
3.  The swim split is recorded as you leave the pool building.  Call out your number to insure that the split timers record your time.
4.  Relay teams must tag off in the transition zone.

Bike
Bike Helmets mandatory for all participants, must have helmet on and chin strap fastened when leaving transition or be disqualified!
1.  Exit the transition area directly onto Spruce, do not use the sidewalk.  Mount bike in street.
2.  Careful crossing the railroad tracks on Nora both out and back.
3.  Turn-around point is south of the airport on Pennington Ave.
4.  Return to transition area by riding on sidewalk at the parking lot entrance.  Dismount bike prior to the dismount line.  Relay teams must tag off in the transition zone.
5.  Split time is recorded at the start of the run, call out your number.  Your bike split will include your 2 transitions.

Run
No Headphones, ipods, mp3 players or personal audio devices are to be carried or worn at any time during the race!  Time penalties will be applied.
